The company has grown rapidly, since it was formed in 2007, with offices in Wanaka, Queenstown, Christchurch and Invercargill. BMC specialises in the structural design and assessment of a wide range of buildings and structures. We have extensive experience in projects from high-end residential to major commercial developments both nationally and internationally. Through the detailed building assessment work we have carried out, after the Christchurch earthquake sequence, we have developed a forensic skill set which delivers a comprehensive understanding of building behaviour in a seismic event. By applying this skill set to new building projects we are able to more accurately optimise the structural design solution.
