Central Kids Laughton Kindergarten

Nau Mai Haere Mai ki Central Kids Laughton, the longest established Kindergarten in Taupō.We have a robust transition programme with all local schools, an intergenerational learning programme with our ‘Grandfriends’ at St Johns Wood Rest Home, and are part of a joint planting initiative with Greening Taupō and Taupō District Council in the park behind our kindergarten.Bi-cultural practice is strongly embedded within the programme. We provide an inclusive programme and environment, which reflects and celebrates the kaupapa/ cultures of the community that we serve. Our ‘open door’ policy enables engagement with all whānau.We respect each child as an individual. We welcome you to come in and see us anytime.
