The store is located in the heart of the New Plymouth Downtown shopping district, with ample parking in front of the building. New Plymouth is a thriving musical community bustling with all year round activities. Festival of the Lights, Americarna Classic Car Festival, WOMAD, Festival of the Arts, the list goes on…The New Plymouth Rockshop is proudly involved with all these festivals and the store has become the hub of the local musical community. We are known to cater to all levels of musical ability, from beginners to seasoned professionals. In addition to full repair and maintenance services we also offer regular Workshops on topics as varied as Finger-style Guitar, How to play Drums and/or Bass and How to use Recording gear.
