Tandarra Engineering

Like many kiwi businesses, Tandarra Engineering began in a backyard shed. In 1982, Brian Watson, the current owner and director, manufactured his first RollFormer producing kiwifruit angle boards used for exporting the fruit, using a manual lathe and simple drill press in the garage at the family home. Today, the simple drill press and manual lathe are still making parts for our current machinery, however they have now been complimented by numerous state of the art CNC Lathes, VMC Mills, radial drills, table grinders and even our own heat treating facility in our 22,000 sqft manufacturing plant located in one of Aucklands key industrial areas. Here a team of 20 people design and manufacture what many believe are the highest quality Roll-Formers and associated accessories available in the Southern Hemisphere and beyond.
