He returned to Auckland in 2014 where he continued to work with companion animals as an emergency and critical care veterinarian at Auckland's premier after-hours and specialist hospital.After four years of helping pets and owners throughout Auckland, he became an Official Veterinarian with the New Zealand government in 2018, where he has successfully certified thousands of pets for travel to a diverse range of countries. Jake has a solid foundation of knowledge when it comes to the ins and outs of pet export certification and its requirements, and is ready to assist pets and owners in their preparation for travel overseas.
