We rent classic Californian beach-cruiser bicycles. Our bikes have wide, comfortable seats, swept-back handlebars, and oversized tyres, perfect for a relaxed day of cycling. We are located amongst the vineyards and coastline of beautiful Te Awanga. Simply ride off from our Haumoana depot and connect to Hawke's Bay's scenic, off-road cycle network. Either follow one of our recommended self-guided loops or choose your own way through Te Awanga, Haumoana, Havelock North and beyond. Suitable for couples, families, small and large groups. No lycra required, just cycling the way it was. No wedgie guarantee!

Waitangi Mountain Bike Park provides the perfect introduction to mountain biking with some easy, scenic trails that you can take at your own pace, through to more advanced tracks. It offers 40+ trails of varying difficulty with great flow and features, from introductory downhill riding, jump trails, cross country and beginner trails. There are plenty of fast, flowing berms, rollers and jumps. Grade 2 and 3 runs are so well built, they’re still fun for more advanced riders. All up there are five zones to be developed so there’s still plenty more trail development planned in the years to come.

Our bespoke bike hire and tours business offers bike hire, trail info, tour planning, shuttles( Hokitika Gorge, airport, Train station etc) and luggage transfers.We can provide you with bikes or bring your own for us to shuttle. Logistical problems we will work it out.We take the guesswork out of “how will I get there and back” “who is going to drive” or “ how are we going to organise that”.We have two set packages you can choose or reach out for your tailor made exclusive experience.We can make it happen as we are COASTERS .
